Results from the Special Winter Roundup All Beef Sale Friday January 6th 2017
For the first sale of the New Year we had a really nice run of high quality cattle with many buyers on the seats who came to buy..
We sold 2,128 cattle on a market that was dollars higher than the last sale a few weeks in light of a Feeder Cattle Market that has made a really nice rally up into the upper teens to the mid 120's, a futures market that had made a big improvement and lots of cheap feed in the country to be fed....
The demand was really good for the bigger drafts of cattle that were of front end quality and properly handled.. A really nice sale of cattle that was brought to town by all..
Hoping to maintain this more favorable market as we move into the mid-winter and spring sales..
Thanks again to all buyers and sellers alike who came together to make yet another successful sale..
