Results from the Special PAPA Alliance Blackhided New Crop Calf/Yearling Sale Friday January 8th..

Here this past Friday we had a really nice run to kick off the new year, the quality throughout was the best and was a showcase of cattle produced by the finest Cattlemen/Cattlewomen in the Tri State Region offered to a house full of buyers.

We sold 3,851 on a market that was pretty much steady on the front end lighterweight cattle that will be heading to summer grazing programs across the country. The middle weight and heavier weight cattle that are a one way ticket to the feedyards were certainly lower in light of the corn and bean market that has taken a big shot north causing pencils to be pushed figuring out the new inflated feed costs to finish the new cattle..

But the interest is really good and the cattle got spread out all over the country finding their new homes..

The next Special Winter Roundup New Crop Calf/ Yearling Sale will be in 2 weeks Friday January 22nd starting time 9am sharp ..
