Friday, May 15th Beef Feeder Cattle Sale

This past friday, May 15th we had another really nice run of beef feeder cattle selling 1985 head. We really saw a significant jump this past week in both the fat cattle as well as the feeders. The seats were full of buyers on a market that was strong from the beginning to the end. Light cattle were heavily sought after reaching a top of $205 on some light 300# calves. The trend didn't stop there as the demand for the heavy cattle was as consistant as the light calf market.

Please Note a Change in the Feeder Schedule:

To try to give our producers another chance to market their beef cattle, we are offering both Beef and Holstein cattle at our sale next Friday, May 22nd. This will give both buyer and sellers an opportunity before we start our Summer Feeder Sale Schedule which is the 2nd and 4th Fridays of June, July and August.
