Friday, January 31st Combination Beef & Holstein Feeder Sale

Here this past Friday we help our Combination Holstein/X-Bred/Beef Sale.  We sold 1701 cattle consisting of 690 Hol/Xbred and 1011 Beef Cattle.  The seats were full of cattle buyers actively seeking cattle to fit their program.  On the Holstein/Xbred side, the market was strong on all weight classes.  We have noticed an increas in the number of Angus/Holstein Cross cattle finding their way to the auction.  On the Beef cattle, we had the opportunity to sell some larger consignment with outstanding genetics that were in green condition.  

Thanks to all the buyers, sellers, employees and the truckers, who seldom get the credit they are due.
