Results from the Special Spring Bred Beef Cow/Heifer Sale Saturday February 9th

Here this past Saturday we had a good run of weigh ups and breeds selling 707.

The demand was pretty good on the larger groups of Cows and Heifers that were high quality with predictable genetics with many really nice dispersals in the offering even with hay costs concerns being front and center and quiet. 

As always, the cows not properly bred, lower quality and bad attitudes were kill price and up.

Fancy Black First Calf Heifers 3rd Trimester

Fancy Black 3-6 year old Cows 3rd Trimester

$1000-$1600

Fancy Black Cows  7-good solid mouth 3rd Trimester

$800-$1150

Broken Mouth Cows 

$1000 and down

High Yielding Weigh up Cows $50-$60

Lower Yielding Cows Weigh up Cows$38-$48

Thin shelly , lightweight poor yielding cows $35 and down
